As experts in freight forwarding and logistics, AMCO is proud to announce its Customs team all completed a key qualification that’s recommended by the British International Freight Association (BIFA).

Congratulations to Stuart Tooze, Daniel Hodgkinson, and Aaron Hewson on achieving Distinction grades.
Andrea Kosiarova, Kent Larkin, and Lauryn Green also successfully completed the course with Merit and Pass grades. Congratulations to the whole team on completing their BTEC in Import & Export Customs Procedures.
THE BTEC AWARD IN CUSTOMS PROCEDURES
This course is run by BIFA (British International Freight Association) and involves four days of online training, course work, and a ninety-minute assessment. Originally developed with input from HMRC, it ensures all of today’s necessary export and import Customs procedures are covered. Delegates gain an understanding of Customs terminology, procedures and regimes through presentations, group work, work-based assignments and projects.

DANGEROUS GOODS BY AIR SUCCESS
In addition, AMCO shares more qualification success from its Customs and International team. Stuart Tooze and Adam Khawaja successfully completed their ‘Dangerous Goods by Air’ training, meaning they both gained the required standard to transport dangerous goods by air, a mandatory requirement to maintain AMCO’s IATA recertification.
